NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING WEEK

This week PC Henderson and I have been around areas whereby reports are being made around speeding vehicles, boy racers and youths riding around carelessly on mopeds.

This afternoon, after submitting intelligence, two males were reported riding dangerously around Swadlincote after seeing them last evening around Dracan Village, Drakelow. 

Officers stopped this moped and established that the rider only held a Provisional Licence. In addition, the rider was carrying a pillion passenger, which is NOT permitted under the conditions of their licence.

As a result, the moped was seized.
